Game MVP:
Records: Hazlewood (13-0); Dadeville (11-3)
Coaches: David Hogan, Hazlewood and Wayne Keahey, Dadeville
Game: Played Friday December 3, 1982 at Dadeville

Summary:
Hazlewood jumped out to a 26-0 lead before halftime and it looked as though they would run Dadeville out of the stadium. Hazlewood scored four of the first six times that had the football. Kerry Goode scored twice, Joseph Langham and Antonio Cowley all got into the act.
The Bears offense was clicking as they rolled up 142 yards reusing in the first half. With just a minute remaining in the half, Dadeville finally got on the scoreboard as Phil Morgan capped a 64 yard drive when he scored from 5 yards out.
The Bears added a fourth quarter field goal on a long, time consuming 13 play drive. The score gave the Bears a 26-19 lead with just 3:45 remaining in the game. The Hazlewood defense thwarted two late Dadeville drives to secure the victory.
