Game: Played Saturday December 6, 2003 at Legion Field in Birmingham
 
Summary:
          The Randolph County Tigers claimed the first state championship in school history with a 21-14 win over Luverne on a cold Saturday afternoon at Legion Field in Birmingham.
         Ezekial Knight was everywhere on the football field. He accounted for 198 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Tigers. He hauled in two interceptions and was named the games MVP for his efforts.
         The Tigers jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead and came up big on defense when the needed it most in the second half. Randolph County outgained Luverne 175 to 36 in the first half and used a 77-yard punt return by Knight to score all the points they need by halftime.
         In the last stanza, Terry Bell intercepted a Luverne pass at the Tigers' 6-yard line to stop a drive and Luverne was stuffed on a fourth and three play at the Randolph County 28 with 38 seconds remaining in the game.
