I'm wondering if this week's Luverne game with St. Luke's doesn't have the scores reversed. St.Luke's beating a ranked Luverne team AT Luverne 57-12? And St.Luke's basically receiving those same type beatdowns last season? I've looked around and haven't found anything showing what looks like someone who was actually there reporting from the game. No social media tweets or posts from St.Lukes fans or anything celebrating the win, or any posts on their school media. You'd think a big win like that would be something they'd be talking about. So I'm wondering if that score wasn't reported in reverse.
As shocking as the score may seem, I think it is correct. I heard and saw it everywhere I looked. It does seem almost unbelievable but stranger things have happened. I always see a few games that make my jaw drop and jot them down as I am entering the scores to verify later.
This week I had to take a double take on Faith Academy beating Bayside 34-6 along with this game.
And I found confirmation of the game. A box score reported from St. Luke's. Looks like Luverne imploded on themselves early and couldn't stop it. Still, wow. That has to be the biggest win in St. Luke's history.
I found this on one of their twitter feeds connected to that page I linked in the last post. This would be frame worthy for them. I bet there hasn't been many results like that on that scoreboard in recent memory.
