Just one man's opinion and I don't know the guy personally but I think Will Wagnon would be a great hire. The guy built a winner in Munford and would have in Hazel Green too.

ROLL TRIBE!

Deshler name Arab OC and former Rogers head coach Randall Martin head coach.

Interesting but not totally surprising. Great coach and on top of my list for the Arab job, but the writing was on the wall with the new coach bringing a offensive guy with him Although rumor and innuendo around here was he was offered the opportunity to interview for the Arab job but he turned it down because he didn't want to be head coach at the time.

Article on Martin going to Deshler. Says Ozmint had him coaching DBs. I know coaches know all aspects of the game but it seems weird not having a known offensive commodity coaching somewhere on offense. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Oxford job thoughts? Pinson Valley's Bo Nix and others said to have interviewed:

LET?S TALK: Interviews for the head coaching job at Oxford began Friday. Pinson Valley coach Patrick Nix was among three coaches expected to be on campus. Another two interviews, including Oxford assistant (and former Munford and Hazel Green head coach) Will Wagnon, are expected to take place Saturday. It was not known who else was in Friday, but Foley coach Tad Niblett and T.R. Miller coach Keith Etheredge are also said to be on the interview list. Oxford officials have said they?d like to have their coach by May 3.
