Mac Hampton, the former head coach at RA Hubbard, has been selected to be the new head football coach at East Lawrence, according to the school?s facebook page.

Ronnie Watson has been named as the new head football coach at Sparkman HS according to WHNT 19. Watson has been the school?s defensive coordinator for the last 5 seasons.

Ed Rigby has been named the new head football coach at Luverne according to the school?s facebook page. Rigby was formerly the head coach at Eufala and Pike Road.

I have been checking for an official link but havent found one. But I heard Rush Propst was approved 3-2 last night for the Pell City job. This comes after he took the AD job at Coosa Christian.

Greenville: "Board member Wayne Boswell said that while Seymore brings strong coaching skills, his primary responsibility is to teach. 'He?s going to teach,? Boswell said. 'We don?t hire coaches, we hire teachers who can coach. He will be a teacher, a good football coach, and the athletic director.'"

Tough sleddin', particularly in the higher classifications, for someone to do all three.
