He was named All-County, 3 years; All-State, 2 years; All Southern, 1 year; All-American honorable Mention; Most Valuable Player, 2 years; Back of the Year, DeKalb Conference. He was also excellent basketball player; All-Sand Mountain; All-County; All-District.
