            Hall was All-WAC for 2 years; Scholastic Coach awarded him All-American Honorable Mention; and he has also received the Most Valuable Lineman Award. Kick-off was his specialty.

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
