 High School Bio:

            Fountain rushed for 224 yards and scored one touchdown against Walnut Hill FL as a senior. He also registered 13 individual tackles in the 34-0 shutout win. He played four years of varsity football. His specialty was running back and linebacker. He gained over 2,800 yards during his high school career. He carried the ball 96 times for 1,296 yards his senior year. He was All State, AAA Back and Honorable Mention All-American. He also played baseball.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
