 High School Bio:

            Chambliss was voted the Most Valuable Player on the Banks 1965 State Championship team, was outstanding as a punter, and also scored with nine touchdown passes in the 1965 season. He was named to All-State, to All-City, and was awarded the Outstanding Defensive Back Trophy. He was also outstanding in track having won the State High Jump Championship in 1966.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
