 High School Bio:

            Lowery played three years of varsity football and has captained his team one year. He was a tailback. His specialty was running back. He gained 1,472 yards and scored 120 points (20 touchdowns) during the 1966 season. He was voted the Most Valuable Back at Oneonta; All-County; All-State; honorable mention All-American. He also participated in track and was in second place in the 220 Yard Dash, second place in the 440 Relay in the 1967 State Track Meet.
