 High School Bio:

            Elmore County High guard also played several other positions. He played three years of varsity football and was Captain of his team for one year. His specialty was defense. In 1966 he made 60 tackles in 3 games. He was All-State Honorable Mention; Most Valuable Player; Outstanding Lineman. He also played basketball, baseball and ran track.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
