 High School Bio:

            Sullivan ran for 681 yards and completed 112 of 211 passes for 1,382 yards as a senior at John Carroll. As a junior, Sullivan ran for 664 yards and passed for another 1,657 yards. He was a triple threat who ran for 6 touchdowns, passed for 15 and averaged 33 yards punting the ball. He had been a tailback his sophomore season and made the move to quarterback his junior year. He would rack up nearly 4,000 yards of total offense in his career gaining 2,400 yards passing and 1,600 yards rushing. He was the punter for the Cavaliers, became the kicker his last season and played defensive back. He was All-American, All-State, All-Metro his Junior and Senior years. He played in the East-West Baseball Game for two years; was All-County and All-Metro in baseball; was on 3rd Team All-State Basketball. He played three years of varsity football and was Captain of his team.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
