 High School Bio:

            Played quarterback on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned Crichton Optimist Club Back of the Week, Crichton Optimist Club Runner-Up Offensive Back of the Year, and Blount High Schools Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Year. He completed 45 out of 81 passes for 810 yards, 7 touchdown passes and 2 2-point conversions, attempted 75 rushes for 714 yards, 8 touchdowns, and averaged 9.5 yards a carry.

Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
