 High School Bio:

            Powell completed 116 of 221 passes for 1,583 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior at Baldwin County. He was named All-State, All-Region, All-County and received All-American honors. He was voted Most Valuable Back at Baldwin County.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
