            Guess caught 93 passes for 1,349 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior at Hewitt-Trussville. He also returned 27 kickoffs for 810 yards and one touchdown.

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
