            Chad was considered one of the top prospects in the nation as a senior at Hoover. He caught 68 passes for 1,187 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. His career catches would total 202 for 3,552 yards and 40 touchdowns.

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
