 High School Bio:

            Sington followed in his fathers footsteps as one of the outstanding linemen in state history. He was named All-City, All-State, All-Southern, All-American, Most Outstanding Lineman in Jefferson County and most points scored by a lineman.He also played baseball, basketball and ran track. He kicked 10 of 12 extra points, one field goal and scored two touchdowns.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Homewood defeated Benjamin Russell in five overtimes during the Class 5A Super Six state championship game in 2000.
