            Charlie Tom Gray played varsity football on the Pell City High School squad for three years. His athletic honors include All-State end in football and All-County and All-District in basketball; Charlie Toms specialty was pass receiving; attempting 70 passes, completing 40, and earning 5 touchdowns for his team.
