            Hicks was named honorable mention All-State football, All-County basketball. Other sports include basketball and baseball. He played varsity football four years and was captain of his squad in 1956 and 1957. Specialties: pass receiving, running, passing and punting. Grid statistics: 17 Touchdowns, 5 extra points, and he threw 10 touchdown passes.
