 High School Bio:

            Nicknamed Donut, he played varsity football three years, achieving the team captaincy and Central High Was Most Outstanding Lineman accolade in 1956; rating All-Bi-City honorable mention one year , All-Bi-City two years, All-State two years and All-America honorable mention. He kicked 13 extra points in 1956, and passed for 5 PATs, ran for 12 conversions and scored one touchdown in 1955 He also played baseball.
