 High School Bio:

            Coleman was named All-City, All-State, All-America (Wigwam Wisemens fourth team), runnerup for outstanding Amateur Athlete of Nobile, Best All-Around Senior Athlete, Most Valuable Back on team, All-City and All-District three years in basketball, All-State two years in basketball. He played varsity football and basketball three years each, captained both teams last season, and was top basketball scorer three years. He starred as a ball handling quarterback, passer and defender. His talents also include punting. Statistics - Leading team scorer, intercepted seven passes during season, completed 62 percent of his passes, and ran back a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
