These two schools are only thirteen miles apart and is considered one of the
rivalries with the most hate for each school in the state.
While Washington County
has dominated the series since it's inception, Millry still looks forward to
their meeting each year in hopes of pulling off a victory. The Bulldogs of
Chatom have won the past seven meetings, six by huge margins.
The two first met in 1930
according to our records with the Bulldogs pulling out a 25-0 victory.
Washington County won 23 of the first 25 meetings to establish a huge lead
in the series that continues to grow.
In 1983 the Bulldogs
defeated Millry 21-20 to get their only win of the season.
