2017 Team Previews 




James Clemens Jets
 Wade Waldrop 

Wade Waldrop started his coaching career as an assistant at Fayetteville in 2001. He moved over to Chelsea where for three seasons he served as an assistant coach before being promoted to the head coaching job in 2006.

Over the next seven seasons he led the team to a 41-34 record before jumping to James Clemens in 2013. In eight seasons leading the Jets his teams finished a combined 54-35 reaching the playoffs in all but two seasons.

He spent the 2021 football seasons at Florence before landing at Hoover for a couple of years.

In 2024 Waldrop headed to the beach at Orange Beach as the head football coach.
