The Wildcats open the 2018 season on the road against non-region opponent Curry on Friday, August 31 at Hudson/ORear Field. Last year the Curry Yellow Jackets finished with an overall record of 4-6 and in fifth place in Class 5A region six. The Yellow Jackets closed out the regular season with a loss to Carbon Hill by a score of 44-21. Oakman and Curry have met a total of 51 times on the football field. The Wildcats have a 28-17-6 record against the Yellow Jackets.
