Lee-Scott Academy completed the 2022 season with a 12-0 record. Last year Lee-Scott Academy captured the region one title and a number one seed in the Class AAA playoffs. They finished region play with a 7-0 record. It was the first region championship for the Warriors since the 2003 season. Last year Lee-Scott Academy reached the semi-finals before falling to a very good Glenwood School team by the score of 21-35. Last year the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors reached the AISA-AAA State Championship game only to fall just short of claiming a title. They were defeated by Glenwood School in the State Championship game 21-35 in Troy. No team at Lee-Scott Academy ever won more games in a season than the twelve victories last year. The last time they won as many was back in 1994. The 517 points scored by the Warriors last year were a team record in a single season. Since 2010, Lee-Scott Academy has gone a combined 81-61. Their 57.0% winning percentage ranks 4th in Class AAA over the past thirteen seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Lee-Scott Academy has managed to compile a record of 141-126. Lee-Scott Academy lost AISA All-State running back George Meyers to graduation. He was named to the first team last season. Also graduating were teammates linebacker Dalan Bush, defensive back Pete Lanier and defensive back Quinn Denson. The Warriors return AISA All-State Senior athlete Andrew Hahn. He was named to the first team last season. The Warriors also return Senior athlete Jake White. He was named to the first team. The Warriors also return Senior kicker Matthew Rolader.
