They have not won a region crown with Coach Chase. The Torches open the 2023 season at home against non-region opponent Hillcrest Evergreen on Friday, August 25 at Moncrief Park. Last year the Hillcrest Evergreen Jaguars finished with an overall record of 4-6 and in fifth place in Class 3A region one. The Jaguars closed out the regular season with a loss to Daphne by a score of 34-14.
