Mitchell Turberville
Mitchell Turberville played quarterback at Monroe Academy.
In 2006, Turberville became the head football coach at Monroe Academy. After struggling through a 1-9 season in his first season at the helm, his teams began to win and continue to win.
Over the past eighteen seasons his teams have gone 161-57 and 23-10 in the playoffs. The 2009, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2019 teams won State Championships in the AISA.
Over the past 18 seasons his teams have won eleven region titles finishing with an overall region record of 79-25.
