 2024 Preview 


       Cornerstone Rainsville completed the 2023 season with a 4-5 record.

       The 284 points scored by the Eagles last year were a team record in a single season. The defense allowed a team record 357 points last season.

      

       Cornerstone Rainsville is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only six seasons. They have managed a record of 17-28 over the past six years.

Head Coach:
       The Eagles are led by head coach Jared Adams who is entering his second season at the helm. His team finished with a 4-5 record in his first season at Cornerstone Rainsville. The Eagles saw improvement from a 3-4 record the season before coach Adams arrived. The Eagles have yet to reach the playoffs under his direction. They have not won a region crown with Coach Adams.

Season Outlook:

       The Cornerstone Rainsville Eagles will play in Class 8 Man region during the 2024 season.

      

      



Season Opener:
       The Eagles open the 2024 season on the road against region opponent Tabernacle on Friday, September 6 at Moncrief Park. Last year the Tabernacle Torches finished with an overall record of 3-5 and in place in Class 8 Man region two.

       Cornerstone Rainsville and Tabernacle have met a total of 4 times on the football field. The Eagles have a 2-2-0 record against the Torches. They last met in 2023 with Cornerstone Rainsville winning by a score of 56-28.

Clay County shutout an amazing eleven opponents in 1996. The Panthers outscored their opponents 613-42 finishing the season 15-0.
