Each season between 1948 and 1983 the Alabama High School Athletic Association in cooperation
with the University of Alabama sponsored an all start event in Tuscaloosa.

Many of the players have profiles with their high school statistics included.
The game was not played between 1985 through the 1996 season. In 1997, the game began again and
moved to Montgomery in where the AHSAA has backed the game until today.
