2018 Season Scoring Averages
Week 3 (9/7/2019)
Although we are just three weeks into the football season, it seems the same teams are once again leading the state in scoring. Brantley leads all teams by averaging 57 points in their two games thus far this year. Eight teams are scoring more than fifty points a game.
While there is no doubt scoring is up this season, nine teams have yet to allow a single point after each has played two games.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Maplesville has defeated their two opponents by an average of 51 points after two lopsided victories.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
