Allen Creasy graduated from Colbert County High School in 1982. After High School Creasy attended the University of Alabama in Florence and graduated with a BS in Physical Education. Later he returned to school for a Drivers Education Certificate.
He taught and coached at Lauderdale County High School from 1989-91. He served as an assistant coach and the head softball coach during his tenure with the school.
In 1992, Creasy moved to Decatur High School where he worked as the offensive and defensive line coach along with his teaching duties. He also served as the golf coach at the school.
In the fall of 1996 Coach Creasy moved to Athens High School where he worked as an assistant coach for four seasons before being promoted to the head football coaching position in 2000.
Creasy remained with the program through the 2015 season and compiled a 100-88 record over fifteen seasons. His 2006 squad won the Class 5A State Championship with a 12-3 record. His father, Don Creasy, won 185 games as a head football coach for four different high schools in Alabama before retiring in 1996.
He resigned following the 2015 football season at Athens.
