  1973 - The team was led by head coach Billy Kinard for the first three games and then by Johnny Vaught, in his 25th year, for their last eight games.
  1976 - Mississippi State later forfeited its win over Ole Miss due to NCAA infractions.

  1983 - Tulane later forfeited its win over Ole Miss due to NCAA infractions.
