  2013 - Lane Kiffin was fired on September 29. He was replaced by interim head coach Ed Orgeron. Clay Helton led the Trojans in the Las Vegas Bowl.
  2015 - Clay Helton became the interim head coach after Steve Sarkisian took a leave of absence, and was then subsequently fired.
