New Hope won the Madison county championship in 1955-1958-1959-1961 in basketball. The county tournament was later discontinued. There was probably more by New Hope but these are the ones I know of for sure.

Sparkman won county tournament in 1968. Hazel Green won in 1969 and 1973.

At this time we do not keep records for county championships in any sport for any team. It would be entirely too difficult to find all these for every team.

Maybe someday that will be added to our records.
