In the very near future I will be adding some video of a few games I happen to have copies of from the 1950s, 1960 and 1970s. This will be a work in prgress as all thing I do until I can figure out exactly how to get it done.

To start there will be 3 minute clips of the games so we don't bog down everything with very long and large video files. It should be interesting and give visitors a chance to see how football was played back in the day.

If anyone has video we can use I would appreciate a copy not only for our files but I can put up a clip here.

To start I have:
1955 Woodlawn vs. West End (Woodlawn was 10-0 & state champs)
1962 Sweet Water vs. Thomasville (via Andy)
1972 Foley vs. Fairhope (big game for playoff spot)

I can get my hands on some 1961-2 Foley stuff with Kenny Stabler to add.

So, get the word out and let's get more video of the older games. I can make a copy if it is the only copy you have and will take really good care of your tape or DVD.

If you have a game on VHS I will copy it to DVD for you and send back both if I can keep a copy. Utmost care will be taken to protect your copy.

Look for the videos in the next week or so.

I saw someone on ebay selling a reel of film from the 1960 Banks-Shades Valley game. They wanted $40 for it, though.

I have VHS tapes of 1992 Berry/SV, Homewood/SV & Vestavia/SV, 1994 Huffman/SV, 1999 Mtn Brook/SV Q-final game, as well as a few more SV/Huffman games. Finding them is the problem, lol. I also have Fox-6 Sideline shows complete for each year from 1990 on, possibly 1989. Something tells me I recorded the SV/Anniston title game in 1994, but I'm not sure.
