Boys and Girls if you weren't there you missed one last night! Y'all know I a biased but I thought after game one last year that we had the talent to beat them if we played the way we were capable of. It was very unfortunate for us that Mason got hurt in the quarterfinals last year. Not taking anything away from Fyffe. They are the standard 4A and below. I hate that 24 got dinged up. Not only is he arguably the best player to come through sand mountain, he is a top shelf young man too.
Along the same lines I have said for the last 3 years that Luke Gilbert is a power 5 football player. I didn't see anything last night that changes my mind on that. He is also a top quality kid.
I wished you all could have been there last night!

I was very impressed with the Gilbert kid. He has improved tremulously with his passing. I think Pisgah was a little more talented last year than this, but Gilbert makes a big difference at QB this year. Fyffe seems to be hit with the injury bug this year. |

Definitely puts Pisgah at the top of the heap in 2A until someone knocks them off!
