Is everyone sleeping on Luverne?

I don't know much about them, but their offense, defense, scoring, and scoring differential are INSANE right now.

They are averaging 66.3 points per game. Sometimes that is not incredibly consequential because Alabama has no mercy rule. But they are also giving up ONLY TWO POINTS PER GAME through three games. That's ridiculous.

56-0
75-0
68-6

I don't care who they played. That's impressive. Any time a team scores like basketball and gives up soccer scores it's time to take notice.

WE at AHSFHS.org have them as the #2 team in 2A behind Reeltown. The ASWA has them at #3 this week. I think most fans have realized Luverne may just be the real deal.

They have Montgomery Academy on the road next week. That game will go a long way in determining how good the Tigers really are this year.

We on the podcast certainly are not sleeping on them.

Definitely a good argument for them to be higher, maybe even #1.
