I am not sure. He did go by Desmer though as that is how he was listed in newspaper articles. There were also some that referenced "Dick" Berry so he may have went by this too unless it was someone else entirely.

Is this the same Desmer Berry that was a preacher?
He may have also taught at Lynn.
