I legitimately don't even know where Luverne is; so, I don't have a real dog in the fight, but how can you put them at 5?! Through four games they have an average score of 66-3!
Reeltown and Coosa have an argument to be above Luverne, but Vincent lost to a 1A team already this year, and Ariton has given up roughly two TDs or more to each team they've played.
You could be right, but I don't see how Luverne is lower than 3 in anyone's polls with the numbers they're putting up. |

The way I do my top 10's are based partially off a mathematical system and part off of my own opinion. Teams amass points that puts them in three team clusters. From those three team clusters, I rank those three how I feel and I based my feelings off a snapshot in time, not necessarily cumulative.
Luverne obviously fell into the second highest cluster, along with Vincent and Pisgah. Vincent has obviously lost to Winterboro (whom is a very good 1A team) but is coming off a big dominating performance against a good Sulligent team. Therefore I put them 1st in that cluster.
Luverne hasn't played anyone. Now, I do take the opinions of some people very seriously, two of whom are David and Kody and I have been told by both that Luverne definitely checks out on tape so I put them ahead of Pisgah (who I also think is very good.) But honestly, I think any of those teams could be rearranged. I know some would argue Pisgah should be the top of those three.
If Luverne comes out this week and beats MA or plays really tight, then it could change things drastically. Ultimately it's all for fun and I don't take any of it too seriously.
