Here's mine:
Gulf Shores beating Saraland and breaking their home win streak was a shocker. The BSG had Saraland, everyone in the forum had Saraland and the computer had Saraland by 18. Gulf Shores has been a different team this decade and looks like they have another good team this year.
Orange Beach over Vigor was another shocker. Vigor has been really good the last couple seasons and Orange Beach hasn't. They haven't even been mediocre but the Mako's pulling off this upset with their history is epic. They're off to a great start at 3-0.
Loachapoka losing to Winterboro wasnt a shock but a surprise. The BSG guys and most of the forum picks had Loachapoka. They had a great start to the season and David has been on them in the podcast since day 1.
Mars Hill: Not a shocker since they lost their coach but they only lost 1 game in the previous two seasons. After steam rolling to two straight 3A Championships 2 losses in 3 games this year is definitely surprising.
Anyone else have any shockers or surprises?
