There was a Phillips High School in Five Points, AL. I think they closed in 1971 or 1972, I think, and consolidated (integrated) with Five Points High School. Also, Five Points, AL was the site of the first consolidated high school in the state of Alabama.
We have some information on Five Points playing basketball but I have never seen anything on Phillips in that part of the state. Maybe they did not play any sports. I also have AHSAA directories for those seasons and they do not show any Phillips as being a member.
I will keep my eyes open for that school while doing research.
