Conference Standings
The Choctaw Conference was formed in September 1947. The newly formed league began with fourteen original members that initial season. Only seven of the football playing members were able to compete for a conference championship because they were unable to schedule the required six conference games during the season.
Ackerman claimed to first conference championship in 1947.
