Game: Played Friday December 5, 1970 at Bulldog Stadium in Blountsville
 
Summary:
            
Addison would lay claim to the 1970 Class 2A football state championship by outscoring Susan Moore 13-7. Addison would get on the score board in the first quarter on a Craig Bell field goal. Later in the second quarter Susan Moore would get the only points the Bulldogs would score on a Joe Criswell 86 yard kickoff return.
             Addison would come back in the third quarter to retake the lead for good on a touchdown by Terry Stallings and a fourth quarter touchdown by Steve Hayes to close out the scoring. It was the first time either of these teams had  reached the title game.
