Summary:
        Gerould Thomas rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback Tim Jones ran for another 107 and two more scores to lead the Gordo Green Wave to their third state championship. Oneonta's Lamonde Russell rushed for 92 yards and scored all three of his teams touchdowns but it was not enough as the Redskins lost to Gordo 35-19.
        The Redskins failed to convert on three fourth down situations to seal their fate. Oneonta closed the gap to 21-19 late in the third quarter but Gordo put the game out of reach with two fourth quarter touchdowns.
