Summary:
          Rebel Safety Robert Evans batted away a fourth down pass from Jarvis Sanders intended for Larry Howell to seal the win with 1:52 to play. Evans was named the MVP for what turned out to be a defensive struggle for both teams.
          After a Howell touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter gave the Wolves a 7-3 lead, Vestavia drove 45 yards in 5 plays to take the lead with 3:25 left to play in the contest.
