Billy Snider
Billy Snider attended high school at Jones Valley High School before graduating in 1967. Snider received his degree from Jacksonville State.
Parrish High School was the first head coaching job for Snider in 1981. He spent only two years with the Tornados, producing a 15-7 record and a couple of playoff appearances.
Coach Snider moved to Lexington in 1983 and for the next eleven seasons serving as the head football coach. His teams won three area titles during his tenure.
Snider made the jump to Muscle Shoals in 1994 for another five seasons as the head football coach. Snider overall record as a football coach is 120-88.
His teams reached the playoffs nine times and won six area and region titles along the way. Snider retired from serving as a head football coach following the 1998 season.
