Bob Grisham graduated from Lauderdale County High School in 1984. He earned a Social Science Degree from Athens State College and a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities from the University of North Alabama. He also has a Drivers Education Certification from Jacksonville State University.
Grisham served as an assistant under Billy Snider at Lexington between 1991 and 1993 prior to landing the head coaching duties at Lexington.
He was named the head football coach at Lexington High School in 1994. He served there until stepping down following the 2003 season to spend more time with his family but remained as the special education teacher at Lexington.
In 2009, Coach Grisham took over the football program at Lauderdale County and has led his teams to six straight winning seasons and six playoff spots.
His overall record entering the 2016 season is 117-76 in seventeen years as a head football coach.
Grisham is the son of legendary coach Earl Grisham whose teams at Falkville and Lauderdale County won 166 games during his tenure as a football coach.
