Dale Jeffreys
Dale Jeffreys graduated from Colbert County High School and the University of North Alabama.
His first head coaching job came in 1997 at Red Bay High School. Jeffreys carved out a winning niche as the Tigers head coach, winning 114 games and losing 59 in fifteen seasons at the helm. Five of his teams won at least ten games and all but the first two qualified for the playoffs.
In 2011 Red Bay finished 10-2, losing at Fultondale in the second round of the playoffs after opening the season with nine consecutive wins. He would return to his alma mater in 2012 as the head football coach.
Jeffreys was the third coach in four seasons at Colbert County High School, replacing two-year head coach Jackie Ferguson. Colbert County was 3-7 in 2011 and had three consecutive losing season since reaching the Class 3A semi-finals in 2008.
Coach Jeffreys overall coaching record is 122-64 in 16 seasons. His teams have gone 71-27 in region play and won four region titles. His teams have reached the playoffs the last 14 consecutive seasons.
