 Danny Adams 

Danny Adams is a Jones County, Mississippi native. He graduated from Northeast Jones and the University of Southern Mississippi. Adams began coaching at Beat Four High School in Wayne County, Mississippi in 1976. He also had coaching stints at Northeast Jones, MS, Greenville, Alabama and Central Tuscaloosa. He was an assistant coach at Gautier, MS for one year.

Adams served as an assistant coach at Central Tuscaloosa in 1996 and 1997.

In 1998 he took over the program at Lawrence County High School in Monticello, Mississippi where he won a state championship in 1999 with a 14-0 record. In three seasons his team finished 30-6 In 1999, Adams was recognized as The Daily Leaders Area Football Coach of the Year.

2001 found Coach Adams in Georgia at Worth County High School for one season and a 4-6 record.

Coach Adams took over the football program at Winfield in 2003. His eight-year mark in Winfield is 78-22 with an appearance in the Class 3A State Championship game in 2004, followed by two trips to the state semi-finals. All but one of his teams reached the playoffs.

Adams 2004 team was undefeated and led Oneonta 21-7 in the Super Six championship game at Legion Field before the Redskins rallied for the 28-21 victory.

After resigning from Winfield following the 2010 season, Adams landed at Cleveland High School for two seasons and a 6-14 record. Adams replaced Mark OBryant, who had resigned to accept the offensive coordinator position at Oxford.

In 2013 Liberty High School in Mississippi came calling and Adams accepted the head coaching job.

Adams has won more than 100 games in both Alabama and Mississippi. He has a career record of 235-139 in both states.
