David Smothers
In 2012 David Smothers returned home to take over the head coaching duties at Addison. It was the first head coaching job of his career. Before returning home, Smothers was at Athens High school as an assistant football coach and the junior varsity baseball coach.
Over the course of his time at Addison Coach Smothers has led the Bulldogs to a playoff spot in every season except one winning two region championships along the way.

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
